Karn Shah has a Labrador named Angel, who has truly been a guiding light, leading them to a more positive path. She was gifted to him by Shiamak Davar during a difficult time in his life, after he had lost his elder brother Mihir. Shiamak Uncle said, "Karn needs a dog in his life; he needs an angel in his life." That’s why we named her Angel.
“When Angel entered my life, she gave me a renewed sense of hope and a reason to wake up every day. My lonely nights transformed into cuddly ones, and my tears were replaced with moments of expression and joy. My lifestyle changed completely,” shared Karn.
Without Angel, I don’t know where or what I’d be today. Because of her, I have a career, friends, a social life, and so much more. Without Angel, I am nothing; with Angel, I have everything. I am the richest person because I have something many people don’t: pure and unconditional love. The understanding we share without words makes me feel truly blessed and wealthy.
There are many reasons why Angel has been so special to me. One thing I can say for sure is that the satisfaction, love, and understanding I never received from humans, I found in a dog. During my depression, after losing my brother, when I desperately needed someone to listen, Angel was there for me. With her, it felt like someone was truly listening. Whenever I talked to her, she would stare at me with her puppy eyes, as if saying, "It's okay, continue."
To this day, if anything bad happens to me, the first one I turn to is Angel. No matter what, I know she's listening to me. Even if no one else is there, Angel always will be. Every night, we have deep conversations, and I've made it a point to talk to her about my day. I also encourage my clients to learn to communicate with their dogs, as they understand in their own way. Ranting out your feelings each night and sleeping peacefully is something I've learned with Angel.
Well, there’s only one thing I’d say, now we all (mom, dad & me) have breakfast together as Angel is the centre of attention, because of her, we as a family have become much closer than before.
