“It was an absolute miracle, the day COCO rescued me,” stated an elated young girl Anushree. It was 2017 when she spotted this adorable little girl in a litter of motherless puppies. It was a tough choice but she knew she could take care of only one at that time since she too was new to the world of pets.
And somehow it was her, the colour, the eyes, and the way she came running towards Anushree with her floppy ears that stayed on her mind. “I think I am a person who is more comfortable with animals than humans but that day I just fell in love with animals,” she said.
Coco made Anushree’s life full of love. She forced her to pay more attention, become responsible, and take care of herself. She was the reason for the glee on their faces in any situation.
Caring for a pet fosters empathy, compassion, and a sense of responsibility. As we tend to the needs of our furry friends, we become more attuned to their emotions, health, and well-being. This heightened awareness of another being's needs extends beyond the pet-human relationship and positively impacts how we interact with others.
Coco wanders the entire house with a wagging tail, her inquisitiveness about every nuisance of this world, and monkeying around the entire house, destroying every piece of item available. She has never let a stranger inside and starts to bark, making sure everyone is on their toes.
“Many might feel troubled but she makes sure that all our senses function as high as hers,” shared Anushree adding that there is just something about her. She added, “Even in the most mundane situations, she will make sure that we all have a good laugh.”
Coco has brought about a humongous difference in each and everyone’s life at home. She has taught family members to be kind, to love more, stay to the ground, and be grateful for the existence of our loved ones.
“It was because of her, that we were able to act quickly when my mom’s health issues became serious and also, she was by her the entire time to take care of her and to support her emotionally,” concluded Anushree.
