Here is Trixie making a special place in the hearts of her pawrents

Losing a pet can be incredibly difficult and emotional. Pets become a part of our families, and their absence can leave a void that's hard to fill. The grieving process can be intense, similar to losing a human loved one. It's normal to feel sadness, loneliness, and even guilt after the loss of a pet. Getting another pet after losing one is a very personal decision. Some people may want to wait for a while to grieve and heal before bringing another pet into their lives, while others may find comfort in the companionship of a new furry friend sooner.

Manisha Kindo feels that bringing a new pet into your life can be a bittersweet experience. While you may still be grieving the loss of your previous pet, the new addition can bring joy, companionship, and new memories. Each pet is unique, so while you may never forget the one you lost, your new pet will have its own special place in your heart.

It's essential to give yourself time to grieve and adjust to the loss before bringing a new pet home. And when you do decide to get a new pet, it's important to remember that they won't replace the one you lost but will bring their own love and joy into your life.

Trixie, is a five year old German +lab mix. "My brother got her from his friend's house around four years ago. We lost our German Shepherd a few years back and my mother wasn’t ready to get another dog. But still we got Trixie and she changed our lives," shared Manisha. Trixie is very friendly and well behaved. Her diet includes curd, milk, carrot and meat mixed with rice. It is summer now and Mango is her favourite fruit. She likes to go out for a walk or a quick run.

Trixie taught them to find joy, to always be happy and enjoy the present. "Every morning she comes to my room to wake me up for her quick back rub. She follows me everywhere in the house and she patiently waits near the kitchen door for her chapati as I pack my lunch and see me off till the main gate. She greets me with unconditional love when I am back," expressed Manisha.
