The journey with pets began eleven years ago when Shruthi Venkatesh welcomed Burfi, an adorable pug, into her home. However, as she became aware of the harsh realities of the breeding industry, she shifted her perspective. Shruthi’s subsequent pets were all rescues, starting with Charlie, a one-eyed beagle rejected by breeders. Determined to make a difference, she adopted Rusty, a boxer, whose previous family had put him up for adoption. Today, her pet family includes seven dogs, including three delightful Indian breeds and she proudly calls them her "Pawstars".
The presence of pets has revolutionized not only her lifestyle but her family’s as well.
