The power of pet in making a kid independent.

Being a single child, Kritika's son Arion, when left alone at home, was neither comfortable nor independent. When the family welcomed their fur baby, a male Golden Retriever Archie, things changed for good. Not only did Arion become very independent but also a responsible kid and an emotionally strong person.

Recalling one of the incidents, Kritika shared that she and her husband had to go somewhere late in the night due to some family emergency. At that time, Arion made them very comfortable and confidently decided to stay alone in the home with their dog Archie. He felt really secure with him and was very comfortable being with him alone in the home.

On being asked how has the lifestyle changed since a pet was brought home, Kritika shared that their lives have transformed since Archie has become a part of their family. They now brim with positivity and laughter is their medicine. Archie is the life and light of their home. She also mentioned that Archie is a source of therapy for all of them and is a true stress buster.

"No matter how much tired we are or in stress, he spreads a lot of positivity and happiness around," shared Kritika adding that they have started spending more time together instead of passing time by scrolling on mobiles.

Our pet Archie provides companionship, encourages physical activity through walks and playtime, and offers unconditional love and affection. His presence has reduced stress and loneliness, making them less likely to turn to their phones for entertainment or distraction. Instead, they engage with their pet, which is both mentally and emotionally fulfilling.

"If any one of us is upset or low on  energy due to any personal or professional reason, playing with our dog is the best therapy. By spending little time with our fur baby, we are recharged and full of energy and enthusiasm. The meaning of LIFE has changed," said Arion's mother Kritika adding that Archie is her second baby.
