Appu was their first pet and the cat arrived to their home on one fine evening. As none of them were used to pets, they didn't know what to do with him.
That's when Pavana posted stories on her social media platforms. Prior to this, she had also tried leaving the cat again on road or to someone else's home. The cat knew that he had a purpose to serve, and every time they tried to leave him, he ran and came back home. And also as Pavana's younger brother loved cats, he insisted they keep him at home. So they did, he stayed back.
Pavana expressed that their lives changed ever since Appu entered their home. Pavana fell in love with him, with that innocent tiny being, he was comfortable and he had started playing with them.
Pavana used to play with him, he loved sleeping beside her, he started recognising her voice and would run and come to her from anywhere he was. Pavana's mother who never touched animals started petting him and she was the one who took care of the baby regarding his food.
This cat also became her dad's best friend. They used to take a lot of selfies, he used to play on terrace with her dad at early morning when he would tend to plants watering them. They played together and Appu aka Putta turned a stress buster.
Pavana's sister also loved him, started caring for him so much that she would go how ever far to make him feel comfortable.
"He brought together our family, our interactions from fights to praises of our cat or his discussions, he was the glue who held out family together. We were all in love with him, so we were always in competition mode to talk about him, his reactions, how our individual interactions were with him," said Pavana.
"Holding our cat or playing with him or just being beside him solved all the problems of our lives. His existence and presence made our lives better. We all loved having him around," she concluded.
